Turkish tea started 2026 with a massive momentum in the global market. According to January data, tea exports from Turkey increased by 42% in volume and achieved a historic 66% growth in revenue compared to the same period last year. The income generated from exports to over 50 countries in January once again demonstrated the branding power of Turkish tea.
Belgium, the United Kingdom, and Germany remained the top export destinations, while a significant rise in demand from the USA and Far Eastern markets was notable.
