Following a record-breaking 2025, Turkey is kicking off 2026 with a major strategic move in the Far East. The Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters' Association is leading a high-profile trade delegation to South Korea, marking a new era in food diplomacy.
Strategic B2B Meetings in the Heart of Seoul
On January 13, 2026, 9 leading Turkish exporters will meet approximately 40 South Korean importers at the Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam.
- The event targets over 200 bilateral business meetings.
- Key products on display range from traditional spices and halva to modern trends like "Dubai Chocolate" and medicinal plants.
Aiming for $500 Million by 2031
With current food exports to South Korea standing at $172 million, the goal is to triple this figure to $500 million within five years. The high quality standards established through Turkey's strong presence in European markets serve as a significant trust factor for Korean business partners.

Trade Minister Ömer Bolat confirmed that the momentum from 2025's $273.4 billion success will carry into the new year. The official target for 2026 is $282 billion in goods exports, supported by a rising Export Expectation Index of 109.2.
